The Sunset Hotel in Monteverde offers comfortable, rustic rooms and nice private trails that are great for birdwatching. More than 100 species of Monteverde birds were seen on our private trail, just a few steps from our hotel.

We are a small and quiet family run hotel with only 7 spacious, rustic rooms. All our rooms (5 rooms with 2 twin beds, 2 rooms with 1 twin bed) have private bathrooms with hot water and a shared balcony with great views of the Gulf of Nicoya.
